Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has been crowne the English Premier League’s Player of the Month for February 2023. Marking his second consecutive month on the throne and the third time this season.
A statement from the official website said the 25-year-old produce a deserving performance with five goals in four games helping United go unbeaten for the month.
Every match in February has scored all goals. Including defeating Crystal Palace, Leeds and Leicester, in addition to chasing ‘Yung Thong’ behind the first 2 ufabet goals.
The forward also holds the record for most English Premier League players of the month – per season (September, January, February), along with Mohamed Za. Lah in the 2017-18 season.
‘Rash’ is also the latest player after Ilkay Gundogan to win the honor two months in a row. Both born in January and February 2021.
In his career, Marcus has won the award four times, behind the record joint-most set by Sergio Aguero ‘Kun’ and Harry Kane (seven).
Rashford was rate by online voting and expert commentary over other shortlists like Kelechi Iheanacho, Bernd Leno, Emerson Royal and Ma. Nur Solomon and Ollie Watkins.
“All the players that have been up for it. Even some of the ones that haven’t been up for it deserve it. It shows that, as a team, we are improving and, hopefully, we can continue doing that.”
In a tweet, he added: “Over the moon to have won MU & PL Player Of The Month again. I couldn’t have done it without the rest of the boys and the staff. Setbacks will happen but as long as we stay focus and stay together we will always see the light at the end of the tunnel!
