Manchester City are planning to strengthen their squad in several positions, one of which is right-back, with the club’s academy product Jeremy Frimpong, currently with Bayer Leverkusen, eyeing a move.

Football Insider reports that Manchester City are looking for a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker at right-back and ทางเข้า ufabet their current target is Bayer Leverkusen’s Dutch international right-back Frimpong, who is currently on the radar of several clubs.

Frimpong has been at Manchester City since the age of nine but failed to make the breakthrough in the first team, moving to Celtic in 2019 and then Bayer Leverkusen two years later. The 24-year-old right-back has enjoyed a breakthrough 2023-24 campaign, scoring 14 goals in 47 games in all competitions, playing a key role in Xabi Alonso’s side’s Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal double as well as a Europa League runners-up finish, while making 22 appearances in all competitions this term.

However, Manchester City will face competition from a number of clubs for Frimpong, with Liverpool among them looking for a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold if he does not sign a new deal.
